2023 Drinking Water Report Available
- The drinking water report for the city of Gettysburg for 2023 is available on the reports page of this website.
Now Hiring Swimming Pool Staff
Please consider applying and joining our team. Please note that there is an application deadline this year. Applications must be turned in no later than 5:00pm on May 3, 2024. It will then be decided at the following council meeting (May 6th) whether the pool will be able to operate this season.

911 Address Corrections
The Potter County Library is able to correct rural GPS coordinates on Google Maps. They are also able to confirm that your location is correct if you are unsure. First responders rely on both GPS and map books when trying to reach your location and having correct directions lowers response times.
Please call the Potter County Library at 605-765-9518 during their business hours to verify your location is correct within the Google Map System.
The Library’s Hours are as follows:
- Monday: 10:00am - 5:00pm
- Tuesday: 10:00am - 5:00pm
- Wednesday: 10:00am - 5:00pm
- Thursday: 10:00am - 7:00pm
- Friday: 10:00am - 5:00pm
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: Closed
